Lakeshore Garage Website
Lakeshore Garage has been providing tune-ups and oil changes to Toronto’s Junction neighborhood for over 45 years and is a staple of this recently reinvigorated neighborhood in the West End. The owners decided that 2020 was the year that their auto mechanic shop finally needed a website and with plenty of competition in the area they appreciated the need to improve the visibility of their website through effective search engine optimization.
After stopping by the shop and taking some photos for the website I was immediately struck by the old, faded signage in front of the business and I saw an opportunity to lean into the age of the façade. I designed a logo with the same, faded color and font as the old signage and used that theme across the website.
